MVPR is hiring a Senior Account Manager – Public Relations to join its New York team.

This role offers the opportunity to work with global fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle brands, leading integrated communications programs across editorial public relations, celebrity and VIP relations, talent partnerships, and influencer marketing.

About the Role

MVPR is seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our New York office in an Editorial, Talent & Influencer Relations role. This position focuses on leading fully integrated communications programs across fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle accounts—developing strategic editorial campaigns, securing top-tier media coverage, leading celebrity and influencer initiatives, executing brand activations, managing client relationships, and overseeing day-to-day account execution.

The Senior Account Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop integrated communications strategies, execute proactive editorial and talent outreach, mentor junior team members, and deliver exceptional results across multiple client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day client communications across multiple fashion, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle accounts.
  • Develop and execute integrated PR strategies aligned with client objectives, launches, and cultural moments.
  • Pitch and secure top-tier editorial coverage across print, digital, trade, and commerce media.
  • Lead and grow relationships with editors, journalists, stylists, celebrities, talent managers, agents, influencers, and industry contacts.
  • Lead celebrity gifting, talent seeding, influencer partnerships, and red carpet opportunities.
  • Manage influencer and celebrity partnerships including deliverables, timelines, budgets, usage, and reporting.
  • Plan and execute brand events from concept through completion.
  • Draft press releases, media alerts, market pitches, invitations, and briefing materials.
  • Monitor editorial calendars, industry trends, and cultural conversations.
  • Oversee reporting, project recaps, meeting agendas, and strategic presentations.
  • Oversee sample trafficking for accounts through Launchmetrics, including loans, pulls, check-ins, returns, and showroom organization.
  • Coordinate desksides, previews, market appointments, launches, press events, influencer appointments, and talent fittings.
  • Mentor junior team members and interns.
  • Support new business initiatives and identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 6+ years of public relations experience within fashion, beauty, accessories, or lifestyle (agency experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated success securing top-tier editorial coverage and managing celebrity, VIP, and influencer partnerships.
  • Existing relationships with editors, journalists, stylists, influencers, talent managers, publicists, and agents.
  • Strong understanding of editorial calendars, seasonal fashion cycles, influencer marketing, and cultural trends.
  • Experience managing paid influencer partnerships preferred.
  • Experience managing sample trafficking and showroom operations (Launchmetrics preferred).
  • Experience with ShopMy or LTK is a plus.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-driven.
  • Passion for fashion, media, and cultural storytelling.
  • Team-oriented with strong accountability and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Launchmetrics, Muck Rack, and Lefty preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
