EXPERTISE:
-Experience including and not limited to working with clients across the clean/natural beauty, CBD and supplements/ingestible categories
-Knowledge of clean beauty, sustainability and CBD industry best practices, and ability to apply best practices to clients
-Personal passion for the clean beauty and wellness space
DAY-TO-DAY MANAGEMENT:
-Adept at multi-tasking, working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
-Possess strong management and communication skills
-Lead the business development of BPCM Beauty within the clean/natural/wellness beauty space with BPCM Partners, cultivating relationships in the market for new business opportunities
-Seamlessly manage and work across BPCM divisions and offices, as there will be integration of teams and divisions (Beauty, Sustainability, Cannabis) across accounts
-Effectively lead the creation and conception of strategic planning for each client; oversee execution of plans
-Provide strategic direction to clients on initiatives, brand positioning and core messaging
-Oversee planning and execution of PR and influencer events (press/influencer trips, product launches, deskside meetings, store openings, panels, etc.)
-Effectively lead, manage and mentor junior team members
-Highly organized, detail oriented and have ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented and high-energy environment
-Manage several accounts independently with a positive and proactive attitude
-Out of the box thinker who can contribute to agency wide brainstorms
MEDIA AND INFLUENCER:
-Have strong relationships with top-tier consumer, business and trade press; contacts outside of beauty media relevant to wellness, health and business is key
-Leverage media relationships to create client features across broadcast, print and digital
-Possess strong, expert level knowledge of beauty media practices, with proven results
-Awareness of lifestyle, wellness, pop culture trends, editorial calendars and key events and how to effectively apply story angle development for clients that is strategic and timely
-Maximize brand features and product placements across national, regional, online, trade and broadcast outlets
-Maintain and cultivate relationships with KOLs spanning lifestyle, health, wellness, fitness, beauty, fashion, makeup artists, hairstylists and celebrity
-Identify organic and paid opportunities with KOLs for brands that are strategic and results-driven
THOUGHT-LEADERSHIP AND PARTNERSHIPS:
-Secure and effectively manage thought-leadership opportunities for clients spanning speaking engagements, panels and podcasts
-Identify relevant, strategic partnerships for clients; develop relationships with partners in areas of fashion, hospitality, food and beverage, travel, fitness and beauty
-Minimum of 8 years of experience at a PR agency or in house; experience and expertise with clean/CBD/wellness brands
-B.A., preferably in related field such as Marketing, PR, Communications and/or Journalism
-Well-established media contacts and connections
-Strong writing, communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, agency principals and colleagues
-Strong influencer contacts within and beyond beauty
-Successful senior level pitching and feature development spanning beauty, wellness, lifestyle and business
-Possess a combination of creative and strategic thinking
-Superior press release and pitch writing, communication and presentation skills
-Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; adept at developing rapport with clients to maintain strong working relationships
