STAFFED INC is a New York City based Event Staffing Agency with national services + capabilities. We provide temporary staffing solutions (i.e. brand ambassadors, promotional models, hospitality staff, etc.) for both experiential + hospitality events. Our clients are major lifestyle brands and agencies with staffing needs across the country. Our core clients represent the beauty, fashion, luxury retail, sports, and culinary industries.

We are seeking a smart, savvy, motivated, and engaging candidate to join our team and be an integral part of our day-to-day operations. The person in this role will identify talent nationally and establish relationships to develop and nurture staff for long-term loyalty and success. The ideal candidate will thrive in an ever-evolving environment where their communication, organization, and multitasking skills will be exemplified on a daily-basis. This position will report directly to the CEO with a dotted line to the People Director and will be an integral member of the STAFFED INC team.

Responsibilities: Talent Recruitment

• Manages the full cycle recruiting process including but not limited to conducting post interview debrief meetings to select finalists, makes job offers, negotiates with candidates, and closes offers.

• Utilize a variety of recruitment resources to ensure continual focus on talent acquisition.

• Manage online talent portal to ensure all candidate and new hire information is accurate and updated consistently.

• Supports new recruitment strategies nationally and proactively identifies and implements effective sourcing strategies and hosts open calls.

• Ensures that candidates have a highly positive experience during the recruitment and selection process.

• Ensures that the hiring process complies with Company policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations.

• Fosters relationships and continuously builds and sustains a high-quality diverse candidate pipeline for future opportunities.

• Responsible for job postings and building job ad library for external websites.

Talent Management

• Oversee the employee life cycle: new hire onboarding, HR paperwork, off boarding, etc.

• Responsible for sending all event details and communication to Client and Staff including; confirmed staff, any changes, event details, etc.

• Identify training needs for new employees and team leaders as well as individual staff coaching needs.

• Interact and manage clients by providing up-to-date talent look books, post event notes, and ensuring talent is on time and booked for all necessary events.

• Point of contact for all client and staff event related communication.

• Ensure that the health and safety policy is adhered to at all times.

• Manage staff in all aspects including, training, schedules, payroll, staff complaints and disciplinary procedures.

• Resolving issues/concerns, ensuring follow up.

• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Account & Event Management

• Manage all client accounts and ensure superior client satisfaction and excellent customer service.

• Establish and maintain successful relationships with clients, adapting recruitment and staffing services to business needs.

• Experience with planning and execution of events and managing client budgets.

• Management of client proposals and events which includes; RFP, estimates, invoices, overages, and expenses are reviewed and accurate for submission.

• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

• All event submissions prior to approval to be reviewed and approved by CEO.

New Business Development

• Attend networking opportunities, set up potential client meetings and develop new relationships using online networking sites or other tools.

Requirements:

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Human Resources, Marketing, Hospitality or Business Administration highly desirable.

• Three (3) + years professional experience in a retail or hospitality management capacity.

• Team-orientated with an enthusiastic, self-motivating “go-getter” and proactive attitude.

• Detail oriented and well-organized with keen attention to detail and proven creative problemsolving skills.

• A quick learner with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines.

• Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal skills.

• Availability to travel for events to target markets throughout the US on a regular basis (50% travel) and willing to work nights and weekends, as needed for event support.

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.

• Periodical fast paced movements are required.

• Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 pounds.

• Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.
