POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Corporate Communications role ensures global internal and external communication programs align with Calvin Klein business objectives while enhancing trade, business and consumer knowledge of the Calvin Klein brand as well as the associate experience at Calvin Klein, Inc. In this role, s/he will partner with Calvin Klein global leadership teams to develop and advise on communication strategies, messages and tactics to better inform and engage associates. In addition, s/he will develop and drive project- based communication strategies and campaigns. S/he will oversee key Communication initiatives such as business launches, seasonal runway shows, product introductions and advertising campaigns, and special events, among other brand/corporate projects and initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
• Understand Calvin Klein, Inc., brand characteristics, business strategy, executive leadership team and business objectives and priorities.
• Proactively align with executive leadership teams, across brand, function and region to help identify and develop communication messages.
• Plan, develop and execute global communication strategies and messaging to enhance associate knowledge of CKI/PVH’s business priorities.
• Develop communication protocols and criteria when messaging to associates (organizational announcements, company changes, new business, legal polices, etc.)
• Oversee strategy and creation of assets for Calvin Klein branding as well as key corporate messages. Partner closely with CRK.
• Develop external and internal communication best practices tool kit, procedures and protocols.
• Lead global projects and be responsible for managing and executing deliverables.
• Oversee planning and management of Calvin Klein Global Communications departmental budget and expenses.
• Continue to develop and strengthen the Calvin Klein Global Communications team environment and create an environment of learning and growth.
• Develop key internal partnerships with senior executives along with key department’s leads across functions and teams.

Internal: Senior Leadership Team, EVP’s, SVP’s and VP’s of Legal, HR, PR/Marketing, IT, CSR, Community Relations, Finance; Regional executives in Asia, Amsterdam, Mexico, Canada, Brazil and Japan

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for oversight of all aspects of Corporate Communications budget, in partnership with EVP Global Communications.
DECISION MAKING:
Make strategic decisions on communication plans and positioning of corporate business messages. Determine scope and priority of various internal messages and assets. Will make decisions with senior leaders.
RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:
Continue to create new procedures and identify best solutions to improve efficiency globally. Must be flexible and resourceful to changing opinions to create effective global programs. Be creative on new approaches to communication plans and developing assets to better communicate messages.
ENVIRONMENT: This position works globally so will have to take early/evening calls with Asia team. Due to nature of Communications, will need to be available via email post business hours and some weekends.
Experience:
• 10+ years’ experience, with a background focused on international communications for global companies.
• Expertise in the following: - creating and executing communication strategies management/execution of global associate campaigns - crafting global business messages to internal audience o management of Intranet - creating assets to support business messages and internal newsletters
Education:
• College degree
Skills:
• Excel, strong writing/editing and intrapersonal skills.
