For the role of Account Manager, Public Relations, Blended Strategy Group (BSG) is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and proactive candidate with strong PR/communications experience to support and lead day-to-day client work across consumer, lifestyle, and beauty accounts. This role will report to the Vice President of the PR + Marketing Communications division and serve as a key client contact while helping to oversee junior team members and manage integrated communications programs from development through execution.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, has strong media and influencer relationships, and understands how to build culturally relevant campaigns that break through today’s evolving media and social landscape. Experience working with founder-led, talent-driven, and culturally relevant brands is strongly preferred.

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/PR, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–6 years of PR/Communications experience (agency experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of today’s media, influencer, creator, and social media landscape with an interest in pop culture, brand storytelling, and integrated marketing.
- Experience supporting the development and execution of strategic PR + Communications plans across multiple clients and categories.
- Strong media relationships across beauty, lifestyle, F&B, business, celebrity, and culture verticals.
- Proven success developing and pitching compelling story angles across print, digital, social, broadcast, podcast, and emerging media platforms.
- Ability to lead day-to-day account activity, including media relations, brainstorms, mailers, desksides, events, experiential activations, influencer campaigns, reporting, and client communications.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members while supporting senior leadership on overarching account strategy and client management.
- Ability to confidently lead client calls, provide proactive updates, and help manage client expectations.
- Experience working cross-functionally with influencer marketing, social media, paid media, and creative teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Knowledge of broader Marketing Communications tactics, including affiliate marketing, paid influencer programs, celebrity partnerships, sponsorships, and brand collaborations.
- Strong relationships with media, tastemakers, creators, and industry partners.
- Experience supporting budget tracking, vendor management, and overall account organization.
- Proven ability to develop detailed client recaps, reports, status documents, and campaign summaries.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite and industry software skills (Cision, Meltwater, CreatorIQ, Tribe Dynamics, etc.).
- Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize shifting deadlines, and remain solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to “roll up sleeves” and execute programs from start to finish as a collaborative team player.
The expected base salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000. Various factors, including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget, determine the exact base salary.
