The internship program at Bullfrog + Baum has always been a key part of what we do. We believe strongly in engaging and inspiring those who are seeking to break into our industry by providing an opportunity to be embedded with our teams, to do real-life work and to learn how the world of marketing communications, and an agency, work, from the inside. This year, as we know, we have to rethink our summer 2020 internship program and find a new way to teach, guide and engage interested students. As sad as we are that our intern program will be different, we are committed to doing what we can. We have, therefore, created a virtual forum suitable for the current climate, where attendees can participate from the comfort of their own homes. It will be different but still worthwhile.
Welcome to Bullfrog + Baum University. Or BBU for short.
BBU is a multi-week experience consisting of two-tracks conducted via everyone’s favorite virtual meeting platform… Zoom. Each track is designed to provide insider and expert knowledge on a range of topics that will be invaluable to those interested in public relations, social media and marketing communications. Sessions will be led by Bullfrog team members with expertise in all areas of our industry to ensure participants receive real-world knowledge.
So, what is BBU exactly?
Webinars
Each week we will offer a one-hour information and Q&A session devoted to a specific topic. Sign-up for one, sign-up for all four. Attendance is flexible and open to anyone who may be interested. Sessions will run from July 14 – August 4, every Tuesday at 11:00 AM ET. Full schedule is as follows:

Workshops
A more formal program, our workshop track is a four-week program of weekly hands-on classes where participants receive real-life assignments, expert instruction and valuable feedback. Limited to a small group, this experience will put what you learn into practice, ultimately generating real work for real portfolios that you can include on real resumes. At the end of the program, each participant will receive a resume review and a 30-minute interview training session. Given the interactive nature of this program, participation is limited to 10 interns and commitment is required.
