Mona Creative is a PR agency based in New York City. We represent world-class chefs, restaurants, hospitality, hotel and travel brands, CPG, and cookbooks. Notable clients include Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, Momofuku, Salt & Straw, TAO Hospitality Group, Samin Nosrat, Wythe Hotel, Peter Luger, Nami Nori, H&H Bagels and many more. We are looking for an experienced PR Manager (2+ years of experience) to join the team and work with us on a variety of exciting brands in the food and lifestyle space! You will be working on building brands, fostering relationships with media, pitching, writing press releases, and constantly immersing yourself in culture and trends. The ideal candidate has a few years of PR experience and a strong passion for and deep knowledge about the food and hospitality space and is eager for the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage day-to-day activities on multiple accounts from chefs and restaurants, cookbook authors and personalities, CPG and travel-related clients
- Build relationships with editors and writers and proactively pitch various clients / products across media platforms
- Coordinate partnerships and events on behalf of clients
- Manage product mailers and requests for both editorial and social influencers
- Draft press releases and pitch language
- Research, build, and maintain media contact lists
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new and creative ways to bring awareness to clients
- Create and maintain professional and successful relationships with clients
