DESCRIPTION:

We're looking for a strategic and creative Social Media Account Manager to join our close-knit Toronto team and lead client accounts at Duet Digital. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and content creator with 3–5 years of digital marketing experience, strong client management instincts, and a deep love for the social media landscape — with particular strength in lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, wellness, and culinary brands.

This is a hands-on role with a creative edge. You'll lead day-to-day client relationships, set strategy, mentor Duet Digital coordinators, and roll up your sleeves to create scroll-stopping content. You'll also travel about once a quarter across North America to capture content on-property for our growing roster of hotel clients — so a love of travel and an eye for telling a place's story are a real plus.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead all client relationships across your account portfolio
  • Manage and mentor coordinators who support your accounts
  • Develop digital strategy and campaigns aligned with client goals
  • Set goals for client campaigns based on initial client connection and onboarding
  • Plan and create social media content — including photo, video, and copy
  • Manage and assist with the execution of influencer relations campaigns from concept to completion
  • Oversee and perfect client coverage reports
  • Own the full client journey — recap emails, metrics highlights, areas of success and improvement, wrap-up email or call
  • Create and share new concepts with clients, and secure client approvals on plans
  • Communicate in a timely manner with clients
  • Manage agendas and scheduled updates for client meetings
  • Research and stay on top of trends and new offerings in the digital world

REQUIREMENTS:

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A minimum of 3–5 years of digital marketing or social media experience, either at an agency or in-house
  • A proven track record of leading client relationships and delivering measurable results
  • Experience developing digital strategy and campaigns aligned with client business goals
  • A strong understanding of digital advertising
  • A track record of dreaming up creative content and campaigns 
  • Knowledge and love of social media trends and platform changes
  • Excellent writing and copyediting skills
  • Strong content creation skills — design (Canva, Adobe), mobile video production and editing, and photography
  • Demonstrated content strategy planning and execution experience
  • Superb organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members a plus
