Job Description

SRC is looking to hire a full-time PR Senior Account Manager to join our growing team and work with dynamic clients that span fashion, lifestyle, and health + wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Account Director to develop and implement integrated PR strategies that drive awareness and engagement through creative product placements, brand stories, executive interviews, and brand + launch announcements.
  • Keep Account Directors and VP apprised of account status, including opportunities, and client and team issues.
  • Manage approximately 5 - 8 accounts and projects.
  • Maintain clear and consistent day-to-day communication with clients.
  • Draft, edit, and disseminate press releases and other relevant PR materials.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with fashion/beauty, retail, lifestyle media, influencers, and KOLs.
  • Assist in updating weekly and bi-weekly client status reports and recaps.
  • Draft and deploy creative pitches to proactively secure coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and emerging media platforms.
  • Identify and share relevant industry trends, sharing takeaways and areas of opportunity for our clients.
  • Supporting the management of the Account Manager on day-to-day tasks, including overseeing the execution of agendas, media list updates, and reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hybrid position with in-office requirements two days per week in-person.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Public Relations in either fashion, beauty, and/or lifestyle sectors, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to secure high-impact placements.
  • Ability to think both strategically and creatively.
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills with experience in supervising and managing multiple projects and cross-functional collaborations.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules.
  • Well-versed in the media and social media landscape, pop culture, retail, and entertainment industry trends.
  • Agency experience desired, but not required.
