Description:

The Promotion Factory is seeking a senior-level PR and Social Media professional to oversee the development and implementation of strategic digital marketing plans for clients, inclusive of social media, digital PR, influencers, and other emerging trends in the industry. This person must be a self-starter that can lead the team and agency, while being comfortable working with various departments from each brand.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage influencer marketing efforts on behalf of all clients sourcing targeted influencers, securing placements, event attendance, building unique and creative content programs and executing full influencer campaigns from start to finish followed by coinciding recap reporting

- Develop digital initiatives (paid and unpaid) to achieve success across the micro, mid and macro influencer and media levels

- Grow the companies network of influencers/media and strengthen relationships with existing influencers/media

- Maintain ongoing engagement of press/media/influencers for the agency (e.g. after hour networking, lunch talks, etc.)

- Maintain public relations and social media calendars, posts and engagements for clients and provide updates

- Consult with clients on editorial strategy, media pitches and social media campaigns

- Oversee client gifting initiatives and sample loan programs

- Identify compelling stories for key North American initiatives

- Creatively imagine and develop ideas to pitch clients to media

- Be involved in pitching for new business and developing PR/Social Media proposals for new business leads

- Keep TPF team abreast of current PR/Digital trends and tools

- Participate in overall activities for TPF and show involvement in firm initiatives

Requirements:

- Candidates must have 6+ years of digital marketing, social media or public relations experience, preferably in agency setting

- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related discipline

- Fully understands PR and Social Media with a consistent track record of achieving PR and Social Media objectives and coverage

- Has established a circle of industry, editorial, social influencer and professional contact network

- Has strong presentation skills and demonstrated ability to play a leadership role in a wide range of presentation settings

- Has strong grasp and creative use of social media channels to engage and support PR efforts

- Experience measuring the ROI of digital communications activities

- Experience with social media influencer engagement, content campaigns, and media coverage amplification

- Excellent research, writing and editing skills Has strong verbal and written communications skills

- Must have client facing experience

- Creative problem-solving skills and strategic planning skills

- Goal-oriented and takes initiative
