Job Overview
Berman Group is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Public Relations team. We are looking for a motivated, organized individual who can think outside the box, is well-versed in corporate communications, and is an expert at securing media coverage for a wide array of clients. In this role, you will work closely with a team of communications professionals and collaborate with our Creative Design Studio, Social Media, and Events teams. We excel at creating multifaceted communications campaigns for industry-leading real estate, lifestyle, and hospitality clients.
We are looking for individuals with experience in corporate and real estate–focused communications. This role is based in Manhattan, and we are seeking candidates who are able to work in person at our office on a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Account Management & Execution - Manage day-to-day execution across multiple public relations and social media–focused accounts, ensuring high-quality deliverables, strong organization, and consistent client service, with guidance and support from senior team members.
- Fast-Paced, Multi-Account Environment - Thrive in a fast-paced agency setting, successfully balancing multiple accounts and priorities at once while collaborating closely with senior leadership and teammates who are actively involved and available for support.
- Client Communications - Lead routine client communications, including status updates, meeting coordination, and follow-ups, while partnering with senior team members on strategic discussions and higher-level planning.
- Media Relations - Drive media outreach by drafting pitches, managing media lists, tracking coverage, and securing placements across key real estate, lifestyle, business, and design outlets, with increasing ownership over outreach efforts.
- Content & Messaging Development - Draft and support the development of press materials, messaging documents, and social media content in collaboration with the social media and creative teams to elevate client narratives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with colleagues across Public Relations, Social Media, Events, and Creative Design to support integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Relationship Building - Build and maintain relationships with reporters, editors, and media contacts, expanding your media network over time with mentorship from senior team members.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative - Approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and continue to grow industry knowledge and expertise.
- Campaign Support - Contribute ideas for new story angles, media opportunities, and campaign concepts that support client growth and visibility.
