Linda Gaunt Communications is looking to take on a dynamic and driven individual for our internship program. The program will provide interns with the opportunity to learn practical skills and a variety of responsibilities that will enable them to succeed as a professional in the Public Relations field. Interns will be fully integrated into the company culture and support members of the teams with their growing client base.
Linda Gaunt Communications is a full-service strategic communications and public relations agency specializing in men’s and women’s fashion and lifestyle. LGC is a boutique agency and we deliver very personalized attention to our clients. The clients that interns will be working with include but are not limited to: EILEEN FISHER, Todd Snyder, New Balance, Habitual, Trina Turk, and more.
Intern responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Review targeted publications for client placements
- Scanning and clipping press placements
- Supporting coordinators with product requests/samples and mailings
- Taking inventory of sample stock
- Maintaining and organizing the sample closet
- Assisting with client events including press days, fashion shows and store events
We are looking for candidates with prior public relations/fashion experience, who are available at least 3 days per week. School credit is available and valuable; educational experience and knowledge will be gained for anyone interested in pursuing a career in fashion, marketing, or public relations.
