Vice President – Travel, F&B, and Luxury Lifestyle (Spanish Fluency Required)Location: New York City (Hybrid)Salary: $140,000We’re seeking a Vice President to join our New York team! The ideal candidate is a hands-on strategist and entrepreneurial leader -- someone eager to roll up their sleeves as an individual contributor while building a high-performing team and book of business.You’ll play a pivotal role in guiding client strategy, driving new business, and expanding Quinn’s presence across the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean. Spanish fluency is required, as you will collaborate closely with bilingual clients and media across those regions.The ideal candidate is smart, strategic, innovative and personable – someone who can inspire teams and forge lasting client relationships.As part of our senior leadership, you will play a key role in our NYC office and the agency overall, working closely with teams in Miami, Los Angeles, and London. The ideal candidate has/is:
- 8+ years of PR agency or in-house communications experience
- Between 4-5 years of management experience, leading teams and accounts
- Demonstrated success in client service, media strategy, and business development
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsExcellent writing and communication skills
- Deep understanding of the destination, hospitality and travel sectors.
- Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) – able to lead conversations, draft materials, and liaise confidently with Spanish-speaking clients and media
Responsibilities:
- Initially serve as the day-to-day strategic lead on select client accounts, overseeing an Account Supervisor and Assistant Account Executive
- Build out a team of communications professionals as the business grows, overseeing all aspects of account work
- Develop and execute strategic communications programs—including PR plans, media strategies, creative initiatives, partnerships, and event activations.
- Edit and sign off on press materials, pitches, PR plans + strategies, timelines, decks and reports; write strategic and creative plans
- Provide training, coaching, mentoring, as well as inspiration and support
- Drive and secure top results; be results oriented
- Establish and strengthen relations with top-tier media and editorial decision makers
- Guide client meetings with confidence, providing big-picture, creative and strategic thinking
- Establish strong professional relationships with clients
- Handle crisis communications with guidance from senior leadership
- Have a solid understanding of social media, so you can speak to it. (Social media work is handled by others.)
- Drive new business by networking and helping to win new business; write proposals and presentations
- Become a valued industry and PR expert who will reinforce the agency’s capabilities and offerings
- Stay on top of current news and trends
- Work closely with senior leaders in New York and across all offices
