About the Role

In Good Company PR is seeking a dynamic Content Manager who can hit the ground running, own the strategy and execution of organic social and email content programs, and collaborate seamlessly across teams to maximize brand impact. The ideal candidate balances strategic thinking, creative execution, and operational excellence to translate marketing objectives into compelling social content that grows audiences and drives meaningful engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of organic social media programs across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Curiosity of trending conversations on discussion boards like Reddit and others is a bonus. Serve as a client-facing expert: lead client calls, present strategy and performance insights, and provide informed recommendations to achieve brand goals.
  • Contribute knowledge of Influencer Relations and Talent Management as needed, supporting these initiatives to ensure social amplification.
  • Develop and continuously refine bespoke social strategies aligned with different client marketing objectives and program goals.
  • Maintain consistency in brand voice and identity across all client channels while staying attuned to emerging trends and audience behaviors.
  • Monitor and analyze social performance through native analytics tools and third-party platforms, translating insights into optimization actions.
  • Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, relevant tech trends, editorial calendars of leading publications, major cultural events, and algorithm shifts, ensuring client content remains relevant and performance-driven.
  • Keep apprised of media moves and nurture/maintain relationships with social media editors at leading brands and publications. This will help with pitching social-led stories, extending PR coverage into collaborative posts and story re-shares, driving event visibility, etc.
  • Monitor how brand and coverage surface in AI/summary results on social media platforms; advise PR on content structures that improve “what AI sees.”

Content Development and Creative Direction

  • Build and manage monthly content calendars for 4-6 clients across multiple platforms, balancing marketing objectives, platform trends, and real-time PR placements and social conversations.
  • Concept, produce, and edit short-form video content (e.g., Reels and TikToks) and assist in creating visual assets using Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools to bring creative content ideas to life.
  • Provide clear and inspiring creative direction to in-house teams, freelancers, other vendors, and interns to ensure content excellence and brand alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account, PR/earned media, creative, and paid media teams to develop campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across social and digital platforms.
  • Experiment with innovative content formats to spark engagement and organically expand client reach.
  • Build tailored copy and visuals for Substack newsletters, blogs, and email marketing programs, with a refined understanding of luxury consumers and their digital behavior.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Monitor the evolving high-end hospitality, travel, design, wedding, and events industry daily - as a habit - sharing timely insights with the PR and Account Management teams to inform client strategy.
  • Partner with our Paid Media team to recommend posts for boosting while ensuring legal and usage compliance.
  • Collaborate with PR and Account Management teams, referencing media plans and sharing social calendars for integrated campaign success, as well as proactively pitching social media collaborations and concepts as a ‘PR’ win.
  • Serve as a bridge between creative, account, and media teams to ensure seamless execution, consistency of brand voice, and measurable results across all client campaigns.
  • Use direct messages (DMs) thoughtfully to build relationships with influencers, brand partners, and industry vendors - initiating collaborations, event opportunities, and social cross-promotions that align with PR and marketing goals.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and interpret key social metrics, providing actionable insights that drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Oversee timely reporting on content performance, engagement, and audience growth to inform evolving strategies.
  • Maintain accountability for content quality, delivery timelines, and client satisfaction levels.
