Reporting to the EVP,the Social Media SAE will be responsible for the strategic direction of client social media accounts/projects, new business development and ongoing refinement of the social media service offering, in addition to high-level oversight of FITZ & CO’s social media identity, as well as managing some marketing clients.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Maintain excellent client relationships and understanding of our clients’ key business and challenges in relation to social/digital strategy
Lead and execute marketing campaigns for major international art world clients
Work with clients to understand goals, manage expectations, and solve their problems in the most creative and strategic ways
Advocate on behalf of FITZ & CO’s art world on social media expertise to raise awareness, expand our audiences, and market the firm, its clients and service offerings
Assist with all new business opportunities and grow the client pipeline; continually refine the Social Media offering to meet industry demands and leverage emerging trends and technologies
Oversee FITZ & CO’s social media platforms to ensure that the agency’s social media presence reflect current agency positioning and business goals
6-8 years experience with digital/social account management
A demonstrated passion for and superb understanding of the social media landscape, preferably in the context of the art world
Ability to lead teams and act as a mentor to talented professionals across several disciplines
In-depth knowledge of planning, creative, and production strategies
Experience implementing social media, digital and integrated marketing campaigns
Stellar presentation skills with experience presenting to senior level clients
Possesses an eager willingness to grow with the organization
Alarmingly smooth communication skills (written/verbal): persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic
A deep understanding of relevant social ad operations and optimization
Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation
Ability to measure and analyze social media metrics (platform growth and engagement)
Must feel comfortable with and be proficient using Microsoft Excel and Google Spread Sheets
Experience creating visual and dynamic social media content preferredUncanny attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Previous agency experience is preferred but not required.
