We’re seeking a sharp, media-savvy Account Manager to join our dynamic Los Angeles team. In this role, you’ll lead standout accounts, mentor junior team members, and bring big, creative PR ideas to life with confidence. Core Roles & Responsibilities

Client & Team Management

  • Serve as daily point of contact for client accounts
  • Lead communication and workflow across internal teams to ensure timely, thoughtful delivery on all client needs
  • Manage junior staff across accounts, providing mentorship, edits, and strategic direction
  • Guide clients on PR strategy and campaign execution with confidence and clarity
  • Lead client calls, meetings, and presentations; prepare meeting agendas and post-call recaps

Media Relations & Pitching

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and influencers - especially in the travel and lifestyle sectors
  • Lead development and execution of media strategies and pitch angles to secure top-tier coverage 
  • Direct and edit team-wide pitching efforts; handle high-priority media opportunities personally

Content Creation & Strategy

  • Oversee junior staff on and/or handle the creation of press materials including press releases, media alerts, and talking points
  • Lead development of strategic PR plans tailored to individual client goals
  • Conduct research on trends, news, and partnership opportunities to inform client strategies
  • Contribute to creative development of new business proposals

Reporting & Coverage Management

  • With support of junior staff, manage tracking and reporting of media coverage; ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • With support of junior staff, manage preparation of client reports and presentation materials

Social & Influencer Strategy

  • Stay current on social media trends and influencer marketing best practices
  • Advise clients on digital and influencer campaign opportunities
  • With support of junior staff, manage, vet and manage influencer and media stay requests, working with team to ensure alignment with client goals

Event & Press Trip Management

  • Lead planning, logistics, and execution of client press events and media trips
  • Coordinate internal team roles and responsibilities for seamless execution
REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of relevant PR experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Strong client management, strategic planning, and project oversight skills
  • Strong media and influencer contacts in travel, lifestyle and related verticals
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and techniques
  • Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage across digital, print, and broadcast platforms
  • Highly organized with an extreme attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Understanding and passion for travel, hospitality, and lifestyle industries
  • Ability to work on-site (hybrid model) in the Los Angeles office
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Keynote, and PR tools such as Muck Rack, etc.
