Description:

Job Duties: 

- Manage media schedule, plan and buy advertising and work with key titles for vendor and BG funded activity across print / digital media.
- Understand strengths of each medium and use this to accomplish brand objectives.
- Develop and produce written strategic plans and recommendations to meet Bergdorf Goodman or vendor objectives
- Manage multiple media projects, set budgets for media vehicles and present campaign plans
- Liaise with merchants on marketing campaigns on behalf of their vendors in print and digital.
- Actively contribute to the planning process, contributing innovative ideas and new media avenues that support Bergdorf Goodman’s brand values and vision.
- Attend Bergdorf Goodman Magazine and Mailer style-outs and coordinate vendor co-op revenue.
- Work closely with Finance team to ensure commercial targets are being met and are recorded accurately.
- Responsible for maintaining Bergdorf Goodman’s Media kit that goes to vendors and third parties.
Liaison point between Bergdorf Goodman, publishers and vendor partners.
- Review media delivery and performance, post campaign.
- Negotiate media contracts and programs/opportunities to ensure maximum value is achieved Work with Advertising and Media
- Coordinator to create, update and present media plans.
- Ensure execution of media is in alignment with goals, budgets and objectives
- Support Director, Marketing and Advertising on key campaigns and marketing programs.
- Communicate “value-added” opportunities to the team.
- Collaborate with Marketing team (Dallas) and manage ongoing relationship with digital agencies.
- Handle insertion orders and information forms for ads and pages in BG Magazines and mailers.
- Work with Account Management to track jobs and ensure ads are approved and released on time

Requirements:

Job Reuirements:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in Media planning or integrated Marketing role.
- Working knowledge of digital media is critical
- Excellent Math Skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills; Able to multi-task, prioritize and support multiple functions within the Advertising department.
- Detail oriented 

Educational Requirements: 
- College degree in Marketing or Media would be beneficial
