JOB DESCRIPTION - PR Manager

SRC is looking to hire a full-time PR Manager to join our growing team and work with dynamic clients that span fashion and lifestyle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Play an essential role in supporting the development and execution of generating maximum brand exposure through creative product placement, brand stories, interviews and launches
  • Draft, edit and disseminate press releases and other relevant PR materials
  • Build on existing media relationships within the industry while also creating new contacts within the fashion and lifestyle
  • Keep Account Director and SRC Partners apprised of account status including big ideas, issues and opportunities
  • Assist in updating weekly and monthly client status reports and recaps
  • Develop creative pitch angles and proactively outreach to targeted media contacts
  • Maintain clear and consistent day to day communication with clients
  • Assist with the creation of strategic short and long-term PR plans for clients
  • Track industry trends and identifying relevant opportunities for clients
  • Supporting the management of the Account Coordinator on day-to-day tasks including overseeing the execution of agendas, media list updates and reports
REQUIREMENTS:

​​REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in Public Relations
  • Ability to think both strategically and creatively
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills with experience in supervising and managing multiple projects and cross-functional collaborations
  • Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and schedules
  • Well versed in media, fashion, pop culture, retail and entertainment industry trends
  • Agency experience desired, but not required
