President and CEO of Gucci America, Susan Chokachi, hosted a private dinner prepared by three-Michelin-star Chef Massimo Bottura at Christie’s Los Angeles to celebrate the release of his book, Bread is Gold. Published by Phaidon, Bread is Gold is the first book to take a holistic look at the subject of food waste, featuring recipes from 65 of the world’s top chefs. In honor of this, Gucci is pleased to make a special donation to Food for Soul, founded by Bottura, in its efforts to fight food waste in support of social inclusion and individual well-being and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to assist in mobilizing resources to fight hunger in the local community.
