The Winter Show hosted its annual Young Collectors Night cocktail party benefiting East Side House Settlement at the historic Park Avenue Armory from 6–9 pm. The evening honored Adam Charlap Hyman & Adam Eli and was attended by over 800 young philanthropists, collectors, artists, designers, and art, antiques, and design enthusiasts. All proceeds from the event directly support East Side House Settlement, the community-based organization serving over 15,000 individuals and families in the Bronx and northern Manhattan.
Young Collectors Night honoree Adam Charlap Hyman said, “The Winter Show is extraordinary because it acts as a survey of exquisite pieces from different times and places all over the world. It is a real education to have all of these galleries showing under the same roof. It has always been an opportunity for me to learn and explore new avenues of interest and collecting. We are thrilled to be honored this year and to support the transformative work of East Side House."
One of New York’s most anticipated art world events, guests arrived dressed in their best “Grotto Formal” for the evening’s Blue Grotto theme, inspired by the seaside of Capri. Guests danced into the night to music by Oscar Nñ, co-founder and resident DJ of Papi Juice, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres by Canard and wine by Faire La Fête and Evaton. Fine spirits were exclusively provided by DIAGEO, featuring an immersive exhibit of the 2024 Special Release Collection of Single Malt Scotch, including specially curated rare whiskies from around the world, including bottles from Oban and Lagavulin Distilleries.
The evening was co-chaired by Joshua Barba-Hill, Kevin Barba-Hill, Sam Dangremond, Laura Doyle, Tiffany Farney, Justin Fichelson, Camille Okhio, Madeline O’Malley, Margaret Schwartz, Anderson Somerselle, Elise Taylor, and Laura Day Webb.
