Sarah Wetenhall, Stellene Volandes, and Steele Marcoux hosted a lively cocktail party at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach, bringing together friends in design, fashion, hospitality, and beyond to celebrate the unveiling of The Poolside Press, a reimagined cabana counter conceptualized by Kentucky-based interior designer Matthew Carter and presented by Hearst Magazines.
Guests included David Netto, Elizabeth Saltzman, Rachel Antonoff, Louise Roe, Mark D. Sikes, Nick Mele, Aerin Lauder, Blair Voltz-Clark, Fernando Wong, Alison Kenworthy, Sarah Bray-West, Susan Magrino, Jack Lynch, Meredith & Hunter Ellis, Victoria Hagan, Palmer Weiss, Elizabeth Lawrence, and countless others from the art, interiors, and design worlds.
The Poolside Press invites guests of The Colony to relax and enjoy a refined poolside reading experience, featuring a curated newsstand of the most coveted titles from Hearst Magazines’ Fashion & Luxury portfolio, including ELLE, Elle DECOR, Esquire, Harper’s BAZAAR, Town & Country, and VERANDA. As a part of The Poolside Press experience, guests will receive a magazine menu upon settling by the pool, allowing them to easily select from the curated collection—bringing a new layer of sophistication and relaxation to the already dynamic atmosphere, all while nodding to a simpler, more nostalgic time.
