Moët & Chandon – the official champagne of the Golden Globes for over a quarter century – kicked off the ceremony’s festivities by celebrating the official launch of its 3rd Annual Moët Moment Film Festival (MMFF). An illustrious crowd gathered at Poppy in West Hollywood to celebrate the next generation of Hollywood storytellers which the competition helps to support.
The exclusive fête honored this year’s MMFF Lead Judges and Star Wars costars – Golden Globe nominee Laura Dern and Hollywood royalty’s rising ingénue Billie Lourd. The pair were joined by creator of this year’s official Moët Golden Globes cocktail, actress Jamie Chung; Actresses Alexis Knapp (Pitch Perfect), Pollyanna McIntoch (The Walking Dead), Amanda Brugel, Danielle Campbell, and Kelsey Asbille; Actors Broderick Hunter (Insecure), Nolan Funk, Jon Tenney (whose wife Leslie Urdang is also a festival judge); amongst other notables. Also in attendance was last year’s MMFF Grand Prize Winner, Jack Welles, celebrated for his and his codirector Peter Parsucci’s first-place 60-second film, ‘Know Yourself’. The fashionable crowd sipped Moët & Chandon from golden goblets while dancing to beats by DJ Anthony Pisano.
