Barneys New York and Maria Cornejo were pleased to host a cocktail party and book signing followed by a private dinner in celebration of the launch of Cornejo’s new book Maria Cornejo: Zero and exclusive new capsule collection.
The book is an intimate portrait of Cornejo’s processes and inspirations that combines a mix of Polaroids, sketches, runway shots, and photographs created especially for this book by her husband, photographer, Mark Borthwick, including images of Tilda Swinton, Cindy Sherman, and many other fashion muses. In commemoration of the book’s publication, Cornejo also launched an exclusive twelve-piece capsule collection inspired by the brand’s archive.
