Sarah Wetenhall and Aerin Lauder hosted a cocktail party and ceremonial lighting of The Colony Hotel’s beloved Christmas Tree, to celebrate the holiday season and debut The Colony Edit, the hotel’s curated and exclusive retail collection. The event drew a distinguished and stylish crowd from near and far, including art collectors, curators, interior designers, fashion icons, equestrians, and other notable personalities, all coming together to celebrate the season in The Colony’s signature style.

Located in the Living Room, adjacent to the hotel’s lobby, The Colony Edit showcases a bespoke assortment of products. Designed as a seamless extension of the hotel, The Colony Edit is a living, breathing tribute to Palm Beach, and serves as a tangible representation of the Pink Paradise. It offers guests an opportunity to immerse themselves in the essence of island living, allowing them to tap into an authentic Palm Beach way of life and take home something that is distinctly Colony—whether through a curated keepsake, signature merchandise, or an exclusive collaboration.
Guests can shop a range of unique finds, from practical vacation essentials to one-of-a-kind merchandise,as well as colorful apparel, accessories, keepsakes, and gifts. Beginning December 6, 2024, The Colony Editwill be open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, offering guests an unparalleled shopping experience.
In keeping with The Colony Hotel’s cherished holiday traditions, Aerin Lauder returned to curate the Living Room’s holiday décor through her celebrated AERIN brand. Drawing inspiration from her childhood memories of spending holidays in Palm Beach with her grandparents, Estée and Joseph Lauder, Aerin’s designs captured a timeless blend of Palm Beach glamour with a contemporary twist. Complementing her vision, renowned floral designer Lewis Miller returned as The Colony’s official floral and event designer, enhancing the hotel’s historic charm with his signature floral artistry.
