Breitbard Williams Fine Art (BWFA) officially opened their gallery on November 19 with a celebratory grand opening event. BWFA is a gallery and art consulting firm providing a unique, service-oriented experience for clients acquiring fine art. Co-founders, San Francisco native, Stephanie Breitbard and Dallas-local, James Williams welcomed art enthusiasts, interior designers and distinguished guests to the grand opening of Breitbard Williams Fine Arts.
The gallery showcases works from over 50 talented artists for guests to admire and explore – including work from Landon Nordeman, Benjamin Anderson, Betsy Enzensberger, Jane Maxwell and more. Nestled in Dallas’ Design District, BWFA blends traditional gallery-artist representation with in-home and corporate art consulting. BWFA’s expertise lies in curating the home environment, helping clients find meaningful works by collectible artists and placing them throughout the home to create a compelling narrative with the other artwork, décor, and architecture.
As guests began to arrive, they were greeted by an array of carefully curated art installations that set the tone for the evening. Sculptures, print photographs, and paintings lined the walls of the 5,200 square foot gallery, each piece telling their own story.
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed hors d'oeuvres which included crab cakes, brie bites, ahi tuna and cucumber, and caviar crisps from Serve & Savour, and sipped on a variety of champagne, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages.
As guests explored the curated collection at Breitbard Williams Fine Arts, Stephanie and James moved through the gallery, offering guidance to guests. They engaged in thoughtful consultations, offering to come to potential clients’ houses with multiple pieces to ensure that every piece fit their space.
In their welcoming remarks, Stephanie Breitbard and James Williams shared their vision for BWFA and the impact they want to have in Dallas’ vibrant art community.
“Buy art you love, buy art over time,” said Breitbard. “Buying art is a lifetime journey, make sure you love every piece, it's all about surrounding yourself with beauty and art that is meaningful to you.”
James continued with this sentiment, adding, “Each piece in here has a story – being a gallery owner, I get to see a glimpse of how others see the world. Getting to walk into someone's home and show them art that they wouldn't expect should be a journey and exciting. ”
Notable VIPS and guests in attendance included Stephanie Breitbard, James Williams, Lauren Williams, Gonzalo Bueno, A.J. Oishi, Rania Nasser, Bryan Yates, Gabrielle Kirven, Jennifer Klos, Kristen Keller, Liz Swail, Lacey Buteyn, Fallon Appleton, Grayson Knight, Anita Hubbard.
