DR. MACRENE actives, the cleanest, scientifically active and clinically proven luxury skincare brand founded by world-renowned dermatologist and scientist Dr. Macrene Alexiades MD, PhD. FAAD celebrated the launch of its Chria Collection at Delice & Sarrasin.
The Chria Collection is an expansion of the popular DR. MACRENE actives High Performance Lip Filler and is now available in four new clean shades: Nude, Pink, Berry and Red. The revolutionary lip care product is a unique hybrid formulation designed to tint and treat lips using active ingredients like organic plant oils and hyaluronic acid. It is completely clean and reef-friendly.
Dr. Macrene Alexiades and actress and MACRENE activist Rebecca Dayan co-hosted the Chria Collection salon dinner in charitable partnership with Project Zero and The Coral Collective, an organization helping to save coral reefs from extinction. As a celebrity ambassador and brand partner to both organizations, Dr. Macrene Alexiades and DR. MACRENE actives created the newest tinted lip collection with more than beauty in mind. Like all its products, the collection proves that clean products don’t have to sacrifice efficacy.
The evening began with cocktails and moved to a seated dinner in the French-style bistro, during which guests were served reimagined plant-based French classic dishes, including escargot, steak frites, coq au vin, and ratatouille Niçoise.
Guests were welcomed to the dinner with introductions from Dr. Macrene Alexiades, Rebecca Dayan, and Georgia Cohen, a Project Zero and Coral Collective ambassador. VIPs and guests then enjoyed an exclusive performance by Alexa Dark, where she sang original songs, “Faith” and “Alibi” as well as a medley of covers, including “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak, “Le Temps De L’amour” by Francoise Hardy, and “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.
Those in attendance included Dr. Macrene Alexiades, actors Rebecca Dayan, Brooke Shields, Mischa Barton, George Hahn, Michele Hicks, Hunter Kohl, chef & TV personality Candice Kumai, producer Georgia Cohen, designers Cate Holstein of Khaite, supermodels Carol Alt, Alex & Keytt Lundqvist, TV personality Thomas Hayo, interior designer Shawn Henderson, DJ’s Nikki “Niks” Kynard, Alix Brown, musicians Aku Oracca-Tetteh, Alexa Dark, principal ballerino Gabrièl Stone Shayer, model Dominique Silver and Elliot Brakebill, VP of IMG Lisa Benson, plus Dylan Lauren, Ian Michael Crumm, Kate Davidson Hudson, among other notables.
