Le Zoo House of Mirrors proudly unveiled Beyond Perception, a revolutionary art exhibition that challenged the boundaries between physical and digital art. This one-of-a-kind showcase merged eco-conscious materials, generative digital art, and immersive sensory experiences, offering audiences a journey into a surrealist world of innovation and reflection.
The event, held at Lume Studios in New York City, gathered a dynamic group of creatives and tastemakers, including Juliana Cala, Associate Creative Director of Moda Operandi; Isioma Iyamah, Associate Creative Director at Glossier; and Kimberly Drew, Curatorial Director of Pace Gallery. This gathering marked the beginning of a movement to build meaningful connections through archetypal discovery ahead of Le Zoo’s full digital launch.
Hosted by MOTHER Games, an art and media studio, the event marked the debut of ten artist collaborations within Le Zoo, a surrealist video game set for release in 2025. Each work blurs the line between tangible and virtual realms, creating an evocative space where audiences are encouraged to question their perceptions of beauty, value, and reality. Each of the works was paired with a digital version of themselves in the virtual world of Le Zoo, becoming either an in-game collectible for viewers to collect and support the artist or an in-game 3D asset, contributing to the virtual art points of interest within the psychedelic landscape.
