The Gordon Parks Foundation 2017 Awards Dinner & Auction was a star-studded evening, with over 650 guests in attendance raising more than $1.3 million. The evening honored Congressman John Lewis, Mavis Staples, Alexander Soros, Jon Batiste and Kenneth and Kathryn Chenault. Guests and participants included Martin Scorsese, Harry Belafonte, Chelsea Clinton, Swizz Beatz, Stephen Colbert and more. Attendees also enjoyed a special performance by Common.
