Hundreds of VIPs joined Ian Schrager to celebrate the premiere of new hotel PUBLIC at 215 Chrystie Street. An inclusive concept, PUBLIC is meant to bring luxurious, one-of-a-kind experiences to all, and that’s exactly what guests got. The VIP dinner took over PUBLIC Kitchen and Louis, both helmed by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The party continued throughout the property, taking over Diego, The Roof and the Lobby Bar. A select few attendees were later invited into PUBLIC Arts, a multimedia performance space, for an intimate performance by Patti Smith followed by DJ Questlove.
