Names in the art and design worlds gathered at John Pomp’s flagship showroom in New York City for Matter in Flux: An Exploration of Natural Materials in the Transitory States, presented by Galerie magazine. The evening celebrated the fusion of craftsmanship, creativity, and avant-garde design, drawing a distinguished crowd of architects, designers, and tastemakers.
Guests enjoyed artisan wines provided by Dry Farm Wines as they mingled and explored Pomp’s latest creations. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of John Pomp’s newest sculptural works—handcrafted glass pieces that expanded his collections while embodying his signature language of fluidity and transformation. Each piece, meticulously crafted for the occasion, radiated an ethereal energy, capturing moments of flux and metamorphosis. Sculpted from molten glass, these works seem to suspend time, creating an otherworldly landscape where light, texture, and materiality converge.
Jill Sieracki, managing editor of Galerie magazine, hosted the lively cocktail reception. Guests included design industry personalities Marianna Fiorin, Gray Davis, Joe Nahem, Minnie Kemp, Peti Lau, Eric Chang, Rodney Lawrence, and Tara McCauley, Catherine Dipersico, Adrian Madlener, Wendy Buckley, Rod Salem, William Pittell and Todd White, and Cameron Carani of Dry Farm Wines.
