Step Up held their 2024 Inspiration Awards at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. At the annual fête, guests heard from girls and mentors who have been involved with the organization over the years. They joined Step Up CEO Delores Druilhet Morton in recognizing 2024’s honorees, Actresses Isabela Merced (Madame Web) and Yvonne Orji (Insecure), SEED Founder Valeisha Butterfield, THE A-LIST Founder Ashlee Margolis and Step Up's Teen Honoree, Paloma Molina-Olmedo.
Other attendees included Taye Diggs, MC Lyte, Lacey Chabert, Shiri Appleby, Amy Landecker, and Odeya Rush. The lunchtime fête also held a live fundraiser at the event bringing Step Up's overall gala contributions of $675K, a new record for the Inspiration Awards. The event boasted a sold-out house!
Step Up is the nonprofit that guides girls to their success by offering free flash mentoring: short-term opportunities to connect with mentors who share their experiences and skill-specific support.
