The evening saw actors and musicians, sportspeople and industry leaders gather to celebrate the hotly-anticipated launch of Louis, the Italian-American restaurant and late night music venue in Manchester’s Spinningfields. Brainchild of the same group behind popular dining destinations FENIX and TATTU, Louis plays ode to the classic New York restaurants which are often portrayed on the silver screen as a home from home, featuring excellent cooking and perfectly mixed cocktails, whilst live performances provide the soundtrack to the evening.
Guests were greeted by flutes of Laurent Perrier Heritage as they mingled throughout the elegant new venue discovering intimate pockets shrouded in deep velvet, transporting them to mid-20th Century New York. Among the first to arrive were Manchester City’s sporting superstars, many fresh from training. Newly signed City skipper İlkay Gündoğan was seen blowing off some steam ahead of Saturday’s match against Brentford alongside fellow teammates and close friends Bernardo Silva and Rùben Dias. The pals were seen trading jokes and enjoying canapés in the form of Italian-American classics Iberico Meatballs and Eggplant Parmigiana.
Elsewhere Liam Gallagher’s daughter Molly Moorish-Gallagher showed her support for the Manchester restaurant and music venue partying the night away with her Dad’s favourite Manchester City footballers; the model’s first appearance after the internet-breaking announcement of Oasis’ 2025 tour.
As the evening drew on, Singer-songwriter Ella Eyre took to the stage for an intimate performance, a reflection of the city’s musical prowess, as guests toasted shots of Remy Martin Louis XIII late into the night as live DJs played high-octane beats.
The who's who of the Manchester party scene sipped classic American cocktails created by the Louis bar team including Manhattans, PB&J Old Fashioneds and Dirty Martinis. Coleen Rooney, her first outing since winning the Wagatha Christie saga, looked ever the glamorous WAG as she donned her finest black tie, and enjoyed a family affair with her parents and close friends. Fellow WAGs Emma Neville and Stacey Giggs, arrived together in their finery for a night filled with live music and Louis XIII.
As Manchester City teammates united on one side of the room, Manchester’s reality TV royalty reunited on another. Recently single star and ex-girlfriend of Joey Essex, Grace Jackson danced with sparklers with Leah Taylor and sisters Taylor and Darby Ward.
Manchester’s fashion finest were also in attendance with Hyrum Cook, CEO of Kardashian favourite Adanola, gracing the red carpet along with Ross Worswick, owner of Couture Club, who also stunned with wife Danielle Fogarty, daughter of I’m A Celebrity winner Carl Fogarty.
Guests enjoyed canapés from the Louis team including Beef Carpaccio and Caesar Salad served in lettuce cups as well as Mac & Cheese balls and Calamari Fritti, followed by New York Strip Steak and Louis Wagyu Beef Burger. Later in the evening, indulgent desserts of baked New York cheesecake were served.
Notable guests from the evening included Ella Eyre, Molly Gallagher, Colleen Rooney, Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Ruben Diaz, Ilkay Gundogan, Emma Neville, Taylor Ward, Grace Jackson and Stacey Giggs.
