The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards honored the best in U.S. prime time television programming for the year, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles and was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Crime anthology The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story won five awards, fantasy drama Game of Thrones won three, including Outstanding Drama Series and political satire Veep won Outstanding Comedy Series.
