INC International Concepts, exclusively at Macy’s, launched its Fall 2016 collection, curated by style icon Iris Apfel. For the aptly named “Iris Meets INC” campaign, INC teamed up with Apfel to develop a collection of “must-have” clothing and jewelry centered around this fall’s mod trend. Apfel also stars in a creative advertising campaign for the brand, shot by Ben Watts.
The collection is comprised of approximately 40 styles that play into fall’s “mod” trend revival. Apfel consulted with INC’s design team and provided creative direction, before curating her final selection of items, which were chosen for both style and versatility. The collection focuses on key wardrobe staples like shift dresses, A-line skirts, flare leg pants, and statement jackets. Print, like mod-inspired florals and bold color blocking, give the collection a modern retro feel, while textures like suede and lace lend depth to the product assortment. In keeping with her signature style, Apfel also included a wide array of stackable bangles and statement necklaces in various patterns and sizes.
