More than 10,000 guests attended the 11th Bi-Annual Jazz Age Lawn Party Sponsored by St-Germain this past weekend. The costumed guests were transported back to the Roaring Twenties on Governors Island to relish in a day of live music, savory eats, and of course a surplus of period-styled St-Germain French elderflower cocktails.
Host Michael Arenella brought the Jazz Age back to life where party-goers enjoyed a day of live music by his Dreamland Orchestra, exciting performances by many spectacular talents including Gregory Moore and The Dreamland Follies, Roddy Caravaella & The Canarsie Wobblers, The Minsky Sisters, and many more. Additional highlights on the day included the Charleston dance competition, the annual pie contest, the 1920s Motorcar Exhibition, and vintage shopping vendors including Prohibition Clothing, Screaming Mimis, and Goddess Godette. St-Germain French elderflower liqueur was the signature spirit of the Lawn Party once again. Master mixologist Julie Reiner, owner of Brooklyn’s Clover Club, created signature 11thAnniversary Cocktails including crowd favorites, “Flappers Delight” and “Strike up the Band”.
