IKEA US debuted its first-ever Sleepeasy in New York City to launch its new sleep range. The highly anticipated immersive sleep experience's opening had the highest attendance of any NYC IKEA event and was revealed to a packed house of celebrities, notable influencers, and press, including Sonia Tucker, Kenny Santucci, Karissa Dumbacher, and more.
Guests entered the one-of-a-kind speakeasy pop-up through a hidden door inside a reimagined Swedish bodega. From there, they were transported to a dreamy space with larger-than-life interactive experiences showcasing the new IKEA sleep range and the six sleep essentials.
Guest also enjoyed themed bites and beverages, including morning and midnight snack versions of the iconic IKEA meatball and a Swedish take on the viral Sleepy Girl Mocktail.
Notable attendees from the event included Mac Joesph, Nasim Lahbichi, Chelsea Zeferina, Toby Lui, Anastasia Gerrans, Jelena Weir, Karissa Dumbacher, Kenny Santucci, Khrystyana, Lacey Tanner, Nimay Ndolo, Sonia Tucker, and Synclaire Lawson.
The IKEA Sleepeasy, located in SoHo at 51 Crosby St, will be open to the public Thursday, Aug. 8 through Sunday, Aug. 11, and Thursday, Aug. 15 through Sunday, Aug. 18. Its hours are Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 am to 9 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm Guests are encouraged to visit ikea.us/sleepeasy for more information.
