India Hicks and Nina Lesavoy celebrated the incredible work of the Global Empowerment Mission. Guests gathered at the home of GEM Board Member Nina Lesavoy in Sag Harbor where they enjoyed sunset cocktails followed by an intimate dinner on the water. Once seated for dinner, India Hicks gave remarks recounting her time on the frontlines in Ukraine. The GEM Board Member and goddaughter to King Charles has gone on many trips to Ukraine following the invasion, starting just three short weeks after the war began. GEM Founder and President, Michael Capponi, followed India’s remarks and shared additional details about their crucial work. The evening ended with a paddle raise by Event Master of Ceremonies Cameron Silver, where over $200K was raised in addition to an over $1 million in-kind donation in brand new armored vehicles so that GEM is able to continue their work safely.
