Equinox, the leader in high-performance lifestyle, and Christie's joined forces to host media, industry tastemakers, and VIP’s to celebrate Pride Month with a private viewing of “Between You & Me: An Art Exhibition and Auction” before it is open to the public. The exhibit is curated by legendary Artistic Director Shai Baitel. The Exhibition is an exploration of the ways in which contemporary queer artists address the breadth of identities, communities, and expressions within the LGBTQIA+ experience. 100% of proceeds benefit Camp Felix PRIDE, a summer camp for the LGBTQIA+ youth in New York’s foster care system.
Beginning June 1, a selection of over 20 works from Marina Abramović, Sir Isaac Julien, David LaChapelle, and other acclaimed LGBTQIA+ artists, have been on display at The Auction Collective, presented by Christie’s, with a benefit auction running from June 18 to July 8, 2024.
Notable guests from the evening included Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Adam Linn, Daniel Clurman, Mengwen Cao, Tommy Ga-Ken, and Yael Malka.
