Save Venice Board member Dayssi Kanavos hosted a Venetian-inspired evening at Nubeluz, The Ritz-Carlton New York, Nomad, to honor the commitment of the next generation in preserving the artistic legacy of Venice, Italy. Themed "Sunset Serata,"the event celebrated the success of Save Venice’s landmark restoration campaign for the church of San Sebastiano (2007-present), and also the emergence of a new generation of Save Venice sustainers.
Co-Hosting the event were Save Venice Young Friend Steering Committee Members Sophia Kanavos, Casey Kohlberg, and Mercedes de Guardiola, alongside Young Friend supporters Alexander Hankin, Natalia Kanavos, Alexandra Mack, Audrey McDermott, and Serena McDermott. Together, they invited their peers to join them in making a commitment to safeguarding the irreplaceable art and architectural treasures of Venice for generations to come.
