The A List hosted their third annual Young Hollywood Industry Mixer at their Beverly Hills showroom. This event marked the beginning of Summer Fridays and was designed exclusively for talent assistants in the entertainment industry.
The mixer served as a unique opportunity for the next generation of leaders in Hollywood to come together in an informal and relaxed setting. With approximately 350 talent assistants invited, The A List hosted over 250 to attend from more than 60 prominent talent agencies, including CAA, UTA, WME, Untitled Entertainment, Entertainment 360, and many others. This mixer promised to be a networking extravaganza.
"We were so excited to host our third annual Young Hollywood Industry Mixer and provide a platform for talent assistants to connect, collaborate, and forge meaningful relationships," said Ashlee Margolis, Founder of The A List. “This event was not only about networking but also about celebrating the young and upcoming leaders that drive the entertainment industry forward,” said Jenine Leigh, Managing Partner at The A List.
Introductions were powered by Peoplehood, which ran speed friending sessions called “fast friends” for the first hour of the event. Guests were broken into groups of 28 and participated in 10-minute, face-to-face meet and greets to break the ice with the goal of introducing all assistants to one another across the industry. Peoplehood generously donated 275 tote bags to all attendees, inclusive of one free Peoplehood@work pass for their respective agency.
Afterwards, attendees looked forward to mingling over signature LOFT cocktails, Ape Water, and Prince Street Pizza. They also had the opportunity to experience a true “A-List” showroom appointment, which celebs, tastemakers, and digital creators have enjoyed for over 25 years. This allowed these young assistants and professionals to better understand the experience they’re sending their represented talent to.
In addition to fostering networking opportunities, The A List was proud to announce that this year's industry mixer featured sponsorship from leading brands in the entertainment and lifestyle industries. Through their support, these brands demonstrated their commitment to empowering the next generation of talent assistants and investing in the future of entertainment.
