SailGP CEO Sir Russell Coutts and athletes from the new SailGP U.S. national team welcomed more than 150 guests to Hall des Lumières for a preview of the upcoming Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix. Guests were thrilled by the exhilarating immersive theater experience that showcased F50 hydrofoil catamarans soaring at 60 mph, captured at races around the globe, as well as the world-class athletes sailing them.
Attending from the SailGP U.S. national team were Mike Buckley, strategist, team co-owner and CEO, Anna Weis, Olympian strategist-grinder, Taylor Canfield, seven-time world champion driver, and Victor Diaz de Leon, wing trimmer. Music for the evening was by DJ Brendan Fallis.
