The Photography Show opened at the Park Avenue Armory! The premiere fair for fine art photography brought together a spectacular roster of exhibitors this year from 77 countries. Not only was this a moment to celebrate an astounding medium, it also brought together the rich art community of New York City.
The presentation was a reunion for colleagues and collectors. AIPAD hopes to inspire the next generation of artists through The Photography Show and engage creatives and art lovers – welcoming everyone into the photographic community.
Attendees had the opportunity to experience an extraordinary range of styles, genres, and techniques from both emerging and established photographers. From classic black and white prints to innovative digital creations, the show offered a comprehensive overview of the rich and evolving landscape of photography.
Monumental, in its second edition this year, showcased large-scale photographic works throughout public areas of the Park Avenue Armory. This was an opportunity for galleries and their artists to present challenging and impactful pieces not generally shown at fairs.
With a long history of high-quality events, scholarly presentations, and outstanding artwork, The Photography Show celebrates its 43rd anniversary. The fair is known for its exceptional roster of exhibitors as well as support of new and emerging artists. Honoring the innovative medium of photography, AIPAD proudly presented the 2024 edition of The Photography Show.
