Pioneer Works hosted its third annual Village Fête benefit to celebrate the organization’s successes, enhance awareness about its progressive programs, and raise funds to help fortify its future. This year’s benefit emphasized innovation, supported by a burgeoning partnership with Google, who created site-specific virtual reality stations where guests could paint, sketch, and sculpt in 3D using the new Tilt Brush App. Overall, the event raised over a million to benefit Pioneer Works’ exhibitions, residencies, science, music and education programs. Guests included Stacey Bendet, Swizz Beatz, Liv Tyler, Jemima Kirke, Chirlane McCray and Emily Mortimer.
