As part of Bridal Fashion Week, evening wear brand Bronx and Banco unveiled their Fall 2024 bridal collection, “La Danse Blanche”, the French translation of “The White Dance", with an exclusive runway show at The Penthouse in the West Village of Manhattan. The 22 dreamy bridal looks glided down the runway on models who looked ethereal thanks to skincare by Danucera, hair by Moroccanoil and nails by Chillhouse Chill Tips.
Notables such as Chelsea Vaughn, Emira D’Spain, Natasha Parker and Abigail Heringer attended the presentation to get a first look at the upcoming bridal collection while they enjoyed beverages courtesy of Boxed Water and Les Fumée Blanche.
Featuring an array of diamond embellishments, floral embroidery, detailed beadwork and layered feathers, all 22 looks within “La Danse Blanche” were hand-made by Natalie herself and her team of 7 pattern makers in the brand’s atelier. This launch will be Bronx and Banco’s second-ever bridal collection, since debuting the new category in October 2023.
The collection nods to the contemporary bride and is influenced by the mini dress movement that has been steadily gaining momentum in the bridal landscape. Complimenting the looks are a variety of crystal-adorned headpieces, ethereal cascading veils, layered dimensional pearls, elegant French lace and delicate lightweight mesh gloves.
“‘La Danse Blanche’ is inspired by my love affair with ballet that began when I was just six years old,” says Natalie De’Banco, founder and designer of Bronx and Banco, “The collection is my tribute to a ballerina’s unique ability to embody both divine femininity and unwavering strength – the goal was to represent the dancer’s timeless elegance and spontaneous playfulness through each of my designs.”
