The Cinema Center, a popular film festival hospitality hot spot, made a triumphant return to Austin, Texas to host its annual 2-day pop-up during the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival. The program’s producers slated an ambitious 2-day, 7 event run of red-carpet premiere parties for the top films at the festival from March 11 – 12, 2024. All events were held at a private venue takeover next to the prestigious Paramount Theater that served as the main red-carpet of the festival in downtown Austin, TX.
Celebrities including Sydney Sweeney, Lilly Singh, Cole Sprouse, Jay Shetty, Mark Duplass, Diane Warren, Jaeden Martell, and Sadie Soverall attended the Cinema Center to celebrate the premiere of their films.
The cast and creatives of each film at their respective SxSw premieres attended the Cinema Center to celebrate their success. Among them, Sydney Sweeney and the cast of "Immaculate" raised a toast with celebratory drinks compliments of Henrick’s Gin while Lilly Singh took the stage as DJ, transforming the Cinema Center into a vibrant Bollywood-themed party with infectious music and spirited dancing and later enjoyed a blind wine tasting by Sommsation Wines. Diane Warren fresh from her appearance at the Oscars was in high spirits after viewing her world premiere documentary and Mark Duplass celebrated his indie episodic with Producer/Director, Mel Eslyn and VIP attendees.
The Cinema Center was sponsored by 2024 supporting partner, Sommsation, a luxury wine experience and DTC marketplace with a collection of over 50 top-tier independent wineries. Their sommeliers and concierge specialize in all things wine, including private tastings, travel, hospitality, and bespoke culinary experiences. On-site, Sommsation brought the best of the best of wine country to A-list talent and filmmakers with curated wine tastings. At the intersection of artistry and technology, Sommsation also hosted blind wine tastings with a digital edge, and featured its virtual tasting experiences and concierge services.
Additional Cinema Center partner, William Grant & Sons, was on-site serving their portfolio of luxury spirits brands highlighted by a mixology centric cocktail menu featuring official spirits partner, Hendrick’s Gin. Specialty libations included the classic “Hendrick’s & Tonic”, “Hendrick’s Cucumber Lemonade”, “Hendrick’s Grapefruit Collins” with additional cocktails featuring the Milagro Tequila Spicy Margarita, Reyka Vodka Espresso Martini, and the Tullamore D.E.W. Honey Highball. Hendrick’s Gin is imported by William Grant & Sons, Inc., an independent family-owned distiller headquartered in the United Kingdom and founded by William Grant in 1887. Hendrick’s Gin also gifted VIPs throughout the experience with branded gear and merchandise.
