Visionary Women recently hosted an International Women's Day summit at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
Highlights from the event include Gwyneth Paltrow and the Honorable Nicole Avant engaging in a fireside chat about mother/daughter legacies. Sharon Stone was honored with the Changemaker Award in addition to Visionary Women giving her $40,000 to donate to a charity of her choice. Stone announced on stage that she would donate the funds to the Jacqueline Avant Children and Family Center.
Visionary Women gave an additional $10,000 to the Jacqueline Avant Children and Family Center, presented on stage by board members Angella Nazarian and Lili Bosse.
All proceeds from ticket sales help fund initiatives that empower women and girls through Visionary Women’s grants - the event was sold out.
