Making its debut at Miami Art Week, Capital One partnered with The Cultivist to present Alex Israel's Snow Beach Frozen Treats, an immersive pop-up installation and frozen yogurt shop accompanied by exclusive 4-course dinners curated by Michelin-starred chefs Dominique Crenn and José Andrés. The week culminated in a Sunset Social with live music by award-winning artist Mark Ronson and DJ Jazzy Jeff.
Guests included entertainment and sports industry figures DJ and songwriter Diplo, Olympic gold medalist skier Lindsay Vonn, R&B superstar Miguel, tennis legend Martina Navitalova and her wife, Real Housewife of Miami' star Julia Lemgova, DJ Mia Moretti, China Chow, and Casey Wasserman, alongside international art world representatives including Bettina Korek and Hans Ulrich (Serpentine Galleries, London UK), Nicola Lees (Aspen Art Museum) Rujejo Hockley (Whitney Museum of American Art), artist Hank Willis Thomas, Collectors Sybill & Matthew Orr, and art advisor Meredith Darrow.
Following each dinner, guests entered the pop-up fro-yo shop to enjoy custom-created flavors served with toppings like leche condensada, brown butter graham crumbs, caramelized masago pearls,olive oil jam, and fresh citrus zests. Surrounded by 1980s vintage cars and neon lights, visitors concluded their dining experience ordering aptly titled sundaes including ‘California Dreamin,’ ‘Lime in the Coconut,’ and ‘Cuban Breakfast.’
