Ruffino, the preeminent Italian fine wine house partnered with CULTURED Magazine to kick off Art Basel 2023 with a dynamic evening fusing fine wine, luxurious hospitality and high design. The evening unfolded in a packed cocktail at the gilded Saxony Bar at the Faena Hotel, followed by a private al fresco cocktail and dinner hosted at the residence of artist Rachel Lee Hovnanian.
At the Saxony Bar, famed polaroid photographer Andrew Tess, captured artists, VIPs, and collectors ranging from lifestyle influencer, Greivy, to Founder of Create & Align, Gregory Dellicarpini Jr. sipping Ruffino’s crown jewel, Riserva Ducale Oro Gran Selezione 2018.
Following the cocktail moment at the Saxony Bar, VIP guests, including Sarah Harrelson, CULTURED’S Editor in Chief; Model Ines Rivero; Katrina Aleska, Co-Founder of Women in The Arts; and Carole Radziwill, Journalist were whisked away to Rachel Lee Hovnanian’s private waterfront residence. The evening featured an exciting five-course dinner experience by Michelin-star Chef Jeremy Ford (Stubborn Seed, Beauty & The Butcher).
Guests mingled and excitedly poured over Ruffino’s impressive estate wine lineup, the event-packed week ahead, as well as Hovnanian’s newest presentation, “PERCEPTION”. Other notable attendees include Kinga and Eddie Lampert, author and journalist Sloan Barnett, and artist Rogan Gregory.
