Swiss Haute Horlogerie manufacturer Audemars Piguet hosted a celebratory event with its latest collaborator, Cactus Jack, the brand and label founded by Travis Scott. The festivity took place at the Refinery at the Domino Sugar Factory in Brooklyn, New York, after the two creative forces announced their partnership earlier that day.
Joined by friends of the brand across the music, fashion, and entertainment industries, the evening treated guests to an immersive experience, transforming the venue into a watchmaking workshop, where they were asked to don a watchmaker coat like those worn in the Vallée de Joux, home of Audemars Piguet.
Guests including Kevin Hart, Mark Ronson, Orlando Bloom, Justin Theroux, Zack Bia, Evan Mock, Heron Preston, and more toasted to Audemars Piguet’s global CEO, François Henry-Bennahmias in honor of the brand’s final collaboration under his leadership. The partnership with Cactus Jack is the latest in Audemars Piguet’s legacy of deep-seated relationships with hip-hop artists and designers dating back to 2005, when Jay-Z and Audemars Piguet released a limited edition Royal Oak Offshore to the brand’s most recent launch of timepieces with Matthew Williams’ 1017 ALYX 9SM.
