Joey Wölffer, entrepreneur and the Chief Brand Officer and Co-Owner of Wölffer Estate Vineyard, joined Leatherology co-founders and brother/sister team Rae and David Liu for an intimate dinner in Dallas to celebrate Leatherology’s 15th anniversary. Fashionable friends and brand fans were welcomed to Rae’s home on Wednesday, November 1, for dinner, a Leatherology personalization experience and a wine tasting by Wölffer Estate Vineyard.
As both businesses are family-run and celebrating significant anniversaries this year, Wölffer was a natural fit to co-host the celebration in an intimate setting alongside new faces and longtime friends in Dallas. A nod to the milestone year, Leatherology debuted their holiday collection which features 15 of their bestselling styles throughout the years. Celebrating its 35th anniversary, Wölffer Estate Vineyard has been known as one of the finest producers in the US and a center for innovation and hospitality. The family-owned and operated winery is committed to producing premium, distinctive wines, ciders and spirits through a dedication to quality, penchant for style and celebration of place.
As guests arrived at Rae’s home nestled in the heart of Dallas, they were escorted to a personalization experience where they could preview Leatherology’s latest 15 for 15 collection, which includes the Meadow Double Zip Camera Bag, the Thin Bifold Wallet, Medium Train Case, the Double Zip Toiletry Bag and many more of their best-selling styles. In addition to previewing the 15 for 15 collection, guests learned what makes Leatherology so unique in the market: personalization. With personalization at the forefront of Leatherology’s brand essence, each guest participated in the process, walking away with their own personalized gift from the holiday collection.
Guests also enjoyed a playful wine tasting where they could “Experience the Notes of Summer in a Bottle Côtes de Provence,” one of Wölffer’s iconic rosés. The rosé was served alongside three different bites to highlight the notes in the wine: tangerine (honey tangerine goat cheese crostini with fresh tangerine slices); citrus/salt (lemon sea salt house made potato chips); and herbs de Provence (tomato bruschetta with herbs de Provence).
After the personalization and tasting experiences, guests were seated for dinner at one long, beautiful table that was illuminated by candles and decorated with flowers by Blushington Blooms, which were inspired by the “Summer in a Bottle” rosé bottle design. Personalized Leatherology leather coasters debossed with the Wölffer logo were set at each seat. A three-course meal featured dishes that were paired perfectly with the Argentine Finca Wölffer White Blend and the just-released Finca Wölffer Malbec - a concentrated, intense, fruit-driven wine with black cherry and figs balanced by dark chocolate, layers of velvet tannins, and chalky minerality.
